Philippine-born fastfood Jollibee has expanded its operations anew with the opening of its first Singapore branch.
Home-grown food giant Jollibee launched its first store at Singapore’s Lucky Plaza, which is flocked by Filipinos working or living in Singapore.
The Singapore branch is the latest addition to Jollibee’s growing overseas market, which includes the United States, Hong Kong, Brunei and other Pinoy-rich countries.
“When I told my two children that Jollibee will have an outlet in Singapore, they asked me to bring them there,” Sherlina Vasquez was quoted by Singapore-based food website Makansutra as saying.
